Are you interested in joining the People Team within one of the UK's fastest-growing family law firms?
This is a fixed-term contract for an initial period of 12 months, providing maternity cover within our People team. If you're passionate about supporting managers, handling complex people matters, and making a real impact across a growing organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
But first, who are we?
We're the experts in family law, with over 400 employees across 90 offices. Our exceptional growth of over 150% in recent years sets the stage for even greater achievements. Now is the perfect time to join us as we continue to serve more clients, create the best workplace for our team, and grow our business for the benefit of everyone.
In this role you’ll:

Actively coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in handling people matters, improving both individual and team performance
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management
Manage a varied ER caseload end-to-end, ensuring a fair, consistent, and legally compliant approach
Work closely with People Partners and operational leaders to support day-to-day people activity across the business
Support on M&A and TUPE activity, ensuring a smooth and compliant process and successful colleague integrations
Ensure all ER cases are accurately documented and tracked, maintaining high standards of record keeping
Proactively keep up to date with employment law and support the ongoing review of people policies and guidance
Analyse people data and trends to identify risks and areas for improvement, escalating where appropriate
Support onboarding activity by working with Talent Partners and managers to ensure new starters are set up for success
Contribute to people projects and initiatives as required
Collaborate with the wider People team to continuously improve the colleague experience
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a People Advisor or similar role, with strong employee relations experience
Confidence managing ER cases independently in a fast-paced environment
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Strong coaching and communication skills, with the ability to support and influence managers
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Why join us?
